Westminster Forum Higher Education – 29th April 2015

Tony Marven is presenting at the above seminar on the 29th April.

The future for graduate employability: careers services, curriculum design and employer engagement.

Delegates at this seminar will consider key issues surrounding the graduate labour market and how universities can better prepare their students for the workplace.

It is scheduled to follow publication of findings from the joint QAA and Association of Graduate Recruiters Student employability initiatives: What works? research project, expected Spring 2015.

Sessions will focus on the readiness of graduates to enter the labour market, examining the effectiveness of employability initiatives offered by universities – including soft skills building and application support – as well as examples of best practice examples across the sector. The agenda will also include discussion on how Higher Education institutions can better engage with businesses to provide the skills and specialisms required by graduate recruiters.
